就峪四方台

㠇峪，秦岭七十二峪口之一，后因㠇字生僻，便又名就峪，位于西安市周至县境内，鲜为人知。

The 㠇 Yu Valley, one of the seventy-two mouths in the Qinling Valley, because of “㠇” is seldom used. So,The 㠇 Yu also know as Jiuyu Valley.This mountain is known by few people.

就峪峪口附近，是老子的墓，墓之上大约一公里之处是西楼观和吾老洞，据传这是老子修炼和羽化的“藏丹神洞”。就峪的末端距离峪口约16公里，海拔2640米，山顶的“四方台”传说是老子的讲经台。四方台不远处便是就峪河的发源地。

Near the entrance of Jiuyu Valley lies the tomb of Laozi. About one kilometer above the tomb are Xilou Guan and Wulao Cave, which are said to be the "Divine Cave of Elixir Concealment" where Laozi practiced and attained immortality.At the end of Jiuyu Valley, which is approximately 16 kilometers away from the valley entrance and situated at an altitude of 2,640 meters, there is a "Sifangtai" on the mountain top. It is said to be the pulpit where Laozi preached. Not far from Sifangtai is the source of the Yuhe River.

据周至县文旅局和就峪村两委会介绍，这里的景观典故达十余处：卧马石、马踏石、单门石、双门石、钻洞子、龙王潭，古栈道、四方台等近20余处。曾有作者在2023年7月公开出版的《问道秦岭三百峪》著书说：未曾听说有驴友从就峪攀登四方台，四方台的最佳攀登线路石南坡，即从王家河方向进入。

According to the introductions from the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Zhouzhi County and the village committees of Jiuyu Village, there are over ten scenic spots and historical anecdotes in this area, including the Horse Lying Rock, Horse Stamping Rock, Single Door Rock, Double Door Rock, Cave Drilling, Dragon King Pool, Ancient Plank Road, Sifangtai (Four Sides Platform), and nearly 20 other locations. An author mentioned in his book "Exploring the 300 Valleys of Qinling Mountains" published in July 2023 that he had never heard of any tourist scaling Sifangtai from Yu Valley. The best route to climb Sifangtai is through the southern slope of the mountain, specifically from the direction of Wangjiahe.

6月9日凌晨5时许，华商报大风新闻记者李杰随五名驴友，从“后就峪口”徒步，用时9小时，以P形路线穿越到达了海拔2640米的四方台山顶，再用时9小时返程，全程近40公里。

On the morning of June 9th, around 5 a.m., Li Jie, a reporter , along with five other outdoor enthusiasts, set out on a hiking trip from the "Houyu Valley Entrance." They traversed a P-shaped route, taking 9 hours to reach Sifangtai, the summit with an altitude of 2,640 meters. The return journey also took 9 hours, with the entire trip covering nearly 40 kilometers.

李杰回忆，在四方台山顶极目远眺，环顾四周，美丽山色尽收眼底。“那天，山顶没有风，除了偶有远处传来的羚牛叫声和近处清脆的鸟鸣，静得能够听见自己的心跳。此刻我想到了山高人为峰、独占鳌头，紧接着我想起老子在四方台传道的传说，于是我便开始寻找老子在此传经论道的具体位置。我把无人机升至高处来看四方台的全貌，但发现四方台并不是四方形。”李杰说，对于“四方台”名字的由来，后来他又问了许多附近的人，但周围人也仅知“四方台”是因老子空中讲堂而闻名，至于为何叫四方台？目前难以考证。“也许四方指的不是形状，而是说向老子求教的学子从四面八方而来吧。”李杰说。

Li Jie recalled that at the top of Sifangtai, he could see the beautiful mountain scenery all around him. "That day, there was no wind on the mountain top. Except for the occasional sound of takins from afar and the crisp birdsong nearby, it was so quiet that I could hear my own heartbeat. At that moment, I thought of the saying 'the highest mountain is the peak of human spirit' and the feeling of being on top of the world. Then I remembered the legend of Laozi preaching on Sifangtai, so I started looking for the specific location where Laozi had preached. I flew my drone high up to see the full view of Sifangtai, but found that it was not actually square-shaped." Li Jie said that he later asked many people nearby about the origin of the name "Sifangtai," but they only knew that it was famous for Laozi's aerial preaching hall. As for why it is called Sifangtai, it is currently difficult to verify. "Maybe 'sifang' doesn't refer to the shape, but rather refers to the students who came from all directions to seek knowledge from Laozi." said Li Jie.

山上有一村，古名㠇峪村，后因银行系统没有“㠇”字，便彻底改名为就峪村。

There is a village on the mountain, which was originally called 㠇 Yu Village. However, due to the absence of the "㠇" character in the banking system, it was renamed Jiuyu Village.

就峪山大沟长，水多潭深，可谓是野生动物的王国，尤其羚牛杀机四伏，除动物外，山上还有一种叫做荨麻的植物，毒性十足，即使穿着裤子，也会被刺得浑身发痒发麻，因此即使住在这里的山民，也很少有人到达过四方台，使得这里有了几分神秘的气息。

Jiuyu Valley, with its vast mountains, deep gorges, and numerous water bodies, can be described as a kingdom of wild animals. Among them, takins pose a particularly significant threat. In addition to the animals, there is a plant called nettle that grows on the mountain, which is highly poisonous. Even when wearing pants, one can still be stung and experience itchy and numb sensations all over the body.
